Over the weekend

April 20, 2020

I couldn't help but notice today's date...lots of 20s!
How was your weekend? Did you enjoy the beautiful sunshine?  At my house we have had a active week all starting with Dusty catching a rabbit that leaves me with mixed thoughts:
"YES...he is done eating my plants!"
and
"Oh no, poor little Peter Rabbit. "

I brought the loved hermit crabs home and gave their home a deep cleaning.

In our backyard we have a berm which holds a row of trees the length of the yard that constantly need tender loving care.
How lucky for me that I discovered we serve as the home for a few garden snakes. Yikes!

Jeremiah and Noah worked on applying some math and science to everyday life and went off to build a tree loft. I am told the view at the top is spectacular.
The upper part of the berm, boys hauling out the wood and
tools needed to make a tree loft.
Thank goodness the snow has finally melted!

At school we began planting the seeds which will be replanted in the school garden.
Collecting the dirt for planting.

Filling the pots with dirt.

Placing in the seeds.

Enjoying a job well done!

Earth Day is coming up...this year marks 50 years!  Spend some time in nature...take a selfie, a family photo or video showing what you are doing on Earth Day (April 22) and send it to me!

Check out this link to view 50 Ways to Earth Day...there is something for everyone!

Some of our families have already enjoyed the great outdoors...check it out!

Blessings on your Monday!
