Distance Learning has begun!
How do you take a hands-on learning environment where everything is 3D and make it meaningful and tanglible in 2D? While maybe a unique challenge, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Montessori School, we accept this challenge and meet it head on!
Replicating what happens in the classroom is not possible, however, we have a common goal: Work in collaboration with families to maintain a culture of learning that is unique to Montessori, while providing families with support and activities that match the developmental needs and characteristics of the child.
As the children have been working in the classrooms, their independence, love of learning and self mastery have served them well....a great benefit we hope will carry over into your homes during our Distance Learning time.
One parent from elementary shared, "We are very grateful for the Montessori education that has prepared our kids to be self-driven and independent, with preparation and guidance from their guides, to continue their education wherever they are! "
So...we're off!!
